Replacement of MIS801 rail interlocking at the Chemelot industrial site

The current interlocking of the Chemelot site will soon reach the end of its technical lifespan.

Attica was asked to carry out an analysis with regard to the desired functionality of the new interlocking system and then, in consultation with the system manager , to draw up both the technical and commercial tender documents for the new interlocking system.

Especially the limited space for the migration and the seamless transition between new and old play a major role in this.

The analysis of the existing solution including the rail connection to the ProRail-network is carried out in a pragmatic manner by means of in-depth interviews and on-site recordings.
