Elaboration of the Zevenaar Oost plan
As a follow-up to the Kijfhoek and Zevenaar Oost reconnaissance study, the planning study is now being further elaborated.
In this phase, the detailed design of ETCS, GSMR and the new 25kV catenary system are being prepared. An important component of this is the coordination between Dutch stakeholders and various German organisations, including DB Netz and EBA (Eisenbahn Bundes Ambt), so that the respective plans and designs from DB Netz and ProRail can fit together seamlessly at the Dutch-German border.
